Families are bizarre living beings..and we are lucky enough to have one, no matter how they may exasperate or dismay us..and i won't say another word about what's burning and saddening my heart. One has to live with all the ups and downs and with the knowledge that we can not solve everything, no matter how it worries us.
The good news: yes, i managed to REST, at last! Took the girls everyday to the beach, swam, walked, picked shells and pebbles, watched movies (doing the Harry Potter DVD collection), napped and READ - oh yes, i did read ! Take a look at what enchanted me these last two weeks ..
Camping was good and once again i delighted msyelf dozing under a pinetree, listening to the wind and the birds singing..once again bewitched by Ria Formosa beauty, remembering my volunteering days in Parque Natural da Ria Formosa.Fuzeta island remains in a class of its on (thanfuly!!!)..white sand, whispering dunes, crystal green water, coffee at Barraquinha do Saldanha (truly a must!!)
No, there was almost no time for romance and that was one of the sad things..but at least i did rest and that i truly needed..Back to my home, to my plants in the balcony, to my adventures in the kitchen, to the idea of painting colours and new furniture for the living room..returning to my old self..
